Dark-blue ring with a white two alpha-numeric code (on left leg).

note 1 : code used is number/letter (1A-9Z) and letter/number (A1-Z9).

note 2 : a "." sign is to be read within the codes.

note 3 : some 850 birds are ringed from 2000 until 2003. Most of these rings are fallen off.

note 4 : all birds ringed during winter in city-parks.

note 5 : all rings have to be read from bottom to top.

note 1 : codes used NB01 to NB99 and NC10 to NC40. Birds were ringed at the Zoo of Barcelona in order to study the wintering ecology of the species.
