White ring with a black four alpha-numeric code : starting letter "S" followed by a 3 alpha-numeric code.

note 1 : most of these rings will be used for gulls wintering in Croatia, mainly on Zagreb rubbish dump.
Some of them could be used on wintering Common Gulls (Larus canus).

note 1 : do check carefully the code as their is another project/another projectleader. See note 4.  

note 2 : used codes are E0AA-E9ZZ, EAA0-EZZ9, E0A0-E9Z9, EN0A-EZ9Z and a few from the series E00A-E99Z or EA00-EZ99.

note 3 : the serie EV.A0-EV.Z9 contains a dot as check, please report this dot by the remarks.

note 2 : used letters are A, E, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, U, V, X, Y.

note 3 : the project concerns breeding birds and pulli from a Belgian colony : >2500  birds ringed (dd. 04.2017) of which 1 hybrid ridibundus x melanochepalus and >3000 resightings.

note 4 : some birds could have a orange-redish turned ring due to being in iron-oxide water (txs to Yann Becker, picture under).
