note 1 : the study area is an irrigated farmland occupied mainly by cereal, vineyards and alfalfa plots in Navarra region (North of Spain). Nest boxes are erected in 5 m high poles, with south-east orientation and separated a minimum of 250 m distance between two nests (Village, 1983; Martínez-Padilla, 2006).

note 2 :  a number of 150 ringed chicks is estimated per year, varying depending on the nest box occupation. Considering project duration of 4 years, about 600 birds could be tagged in this study. 

note 3 : expected resultats are :
- How long is Kestrel home range in this kind of habitat ?
- Are nest boxes used always by the same pairs ?
- Are Kestrels present all the year in the breeding area ?
- What is the survival of the adult Kestrels? And in the case of the chicks ?
- Do Kestrel chicks return to the same area where they were born?
- Are the nest boxed occupied mainly by individuals born in nest boxes ?
- How far the Kestrel chicks reach in their dispersion ?
