BTO en EBDonana are now a full "Trusted Editor" and Sabine Schaefer (BTO) and Óscar Magaña (EBD) are now inserting all cr-projects direct on the site.
Who is next to follow this exemple ? 

* june 2015 :

an agreement with the IWSG (International Wader Study Group) has been reached. From the 15th. onwards the wader-search system will be deleted as well as all wader-projects will be step-be-step redirected/linked to the search-system on the site of the IWSG.

* december 2014 : The Goose Specialist Group made an impressive compilation (edited by Jesper Madsen, Tony Fox & Gill Cracknell) of our knowledge on the status and distribution of the goose populations of the western palearctic. This book is not for sale anymore, but a digital copy can be downloaded for free from:

* september 2014 : colour-ring birding flies high and priorities have to be accepted.
So, ... first, managing and updating the incoming new projects ... second, transferring the data from the .be to the .org site ... third, integrating the IWSG d-base into cr-birding.

* december 2013 : new studies on geese  in The Netherlands (see below).  

* november 2013 : the new goose bulletin is out.

* july 2013 : the new goose bulletin is out.

* september 2012 : after a very nice cr-meeting in Loctudy, organised by Pierre-Victor Vandenweghe and great cr-sessions in the field, the transfers from the be to the .org restarted with Eurasian spoonbill on the 14th. and from the 15th. onwards Lesser Black-back gull (some 100 projects, estimated time about 5-6 hours).

La Société Scientifique Aranzadi de San Sébastien travaille sur l' élaboration  et la publication d' un "Atlas sur la migration des oiseaux dans les Pyrénées Occidentales". Pour ce travail nous recherchons des données de lecture de bague de couleur dans la zone concernée. Nous joignons un fichier Excell  où doivent apparaître les données. Il est important de remplir le maximum de colonne pour chaque lecture. Tout les collaborateur seront cités dans les remerciements lors de la publication. Les données seront à faire parvenir à Alfredo Herrero
Les sites les plus importants pour les lectures de bagues ou marques alaires dans l’area de étude seraient :
              - La côte du golf de Bizkaye de Lekeitio dans la province de Biskaye jusqu' à Hossegor dans le département des Landes.
              - Les cols pyrénéens entre Hendaye et Astun en Arragon
              - Les zones humides d' Orx, St Martin-de-Seignanx , l' Adour jusqu' au Port de Lanne, les Gaves Reunis, les zones humides de Pampelune et Chingoudy.
